The Minister for Energy and Green Transition, John Jinapor, has urged staff of the ministry to redouble their efforts in 2026 to sustain and build on the gains made in the energy sector over the past year.Mr. Jinapor made the call during his first official day at work, when he visited the various departments and offices within the Ministry of Energy and Green Transition to interact with staff and express appreciation for their dedication.According to the minister, the energy sector faced significant challenges in 2025, but through collective effort and commitment, the ministry was able to achieve a remarkable turnaround.He attributed the progress recorded to the professionalism of staff and their belief in a shared vision for the sector, under the leadership of President John Dramani Mahama.Mr. Jinapor encouraged employees to maintain the momentum in 2026, stressing that sustained commitment and hard work would be critical to consolidating the gains achieved and advancing the government’s energy and green transition agenda.He also took the opportunity to thank staff for their resilience and dedication, noting that their contributions were central to navigating the difficulties inherited in the sector and setting it on a more stable path.
