Adwoa Serwaa Bondzie pledges strategic reset for Energy Commission

The newly appointed Executive Secretary of the Energy Commission, Adwoa Serwaa Bondzie, has addressed management and staff at a durbar, outlining her vision for a renewed and strengthened Commission.
She expressed gratitude to past and present Boards, management and staff for their dedication and resilience, which she said have positioned the Commission as Ghana’s pioneer energy regulator.
Ms. Bondzie emphasised the need to reset and recommit to excellence, innovation and professionalism, while strengthening regulatory discipline, supporting responsible investment and advancing Ghana’s energy transition agenda.

She reaffirmed her commitment to staff development, fairness and merit-based growth, and pledged to maintain an open-door leadership style as the Commission embarks on strategic reforms to enhance its national impact.
“Together, we will reposition the Energy Commission to soar higher in service to Ghana,” she stated.

Staff, represented by the Vice Union Chair, expressed gratitude and confidence in her leadership, and assured her of their full support in delivering on her mandate.
