The Ministry of Transport has signed a contract with Vision Consult, in collaboration with KPMG, to undertake feasibility studies for a proposed Coastal Water Transport Service.
The six-month study will assess the viability of establishing a coastal water transport route linking Keta in the Volta Region to Axim in the Western Region.
Vision Consult and KPMG will conduct the necessary assessments and submit their findings and recommendations to the government.
The outcome of the feasibility study will inform the government’s decision on the viability and potential development of the proposed service, which is intended to expand transportation options along Ghana’s coast.
