GOIL PLC has announced that it has regained its number one position in the downstream petroleum sector, attributing the achievement to the dedication of its staff, dealers, and continued customer support.
The number one spot was previously held by Indigenous firm StarOil Ghana.
In a message addressed to staff and stakeholders, the Group CEO and Managing Director, Edward Abambire Bawa, commended the collective effort that led to the milestone, describing it as the result of hard work, commitment, and resilience across the organisation.
“I am pleased to share that GOIL PLC has regained its number one position, an achievement made possible by your dedication and hard work,” he stated.
He acknowledged the contributions of the company’s marketing team, staff, dealers, and forecourt personnel, noting that their execution and commitment were instrumental in restoring the company’s leadership position.
Mr. Bawa also expressed appreciation to customers and stakeholders for their continued trust, which he said has played a key role in the company’s success.
